Day 141: Help!

It was surprisingly quiet around the house, when suddenly I heard a little voice yell, "HELP!! I'm Stuck!"

So naturally I grab my camera and find this.

My sweet baby looked so cute in her new dress that I had to drop everything and document her cuteness!

I got my mini studio set up, and started clicking away. Not realizing what was happening upstairs. 

Isn't she the cutest?!

  and while I was focused on my youngest, my middle child decided to give herself a bath. She turned on the water, stopped the tub, and left. I had no idea what was happening until my oldest ran down and screamed there was water everywhere. I ran upstairs, to find the tub completely full, water spilling over the sides, covering the floor, and creeping into the hallway, soaking the carpet. 

Lovely. It took 12 towels and two days for it to completely dry out. 

When I had done all I could for our mini flood, My other kids wanted their pictures taken. 

Oh the things that happen when we're focused on capturing the moment sometimes.

It's been a very long time since I pulled this little keyboard out.

They immediately took over and have been having a blast. 

This sweet baby turns every time she hears the shutter click. I don't know if that's a good thing or not...

Day 126 I workout

I had this great idea for a picture. It would be me, immediately after a workout standing in the middle of my disaster of a house. 

I just wanted a picture of everyday life. 

So I set up the tripod, set the timer and in the first shot got this.

It was not what I expected at all. 

In fact, it's much better than I expected. 

Instead of a frazzled, sweaty post workout me in the middle of a messy house, 

I got this. 

I was expecting horrible, but this isn't half bad. :)

I had a hard time today picking which picture would be my favorite, so I'm going to post a few of them. :) 

This is the best picture ever. I laughed so hard when I saw it.

My Grandma

She's 76 years old and still beautiful! She is a raquetball champion (seriously, she can still school 25-30 years olds)!

She is constantly serving others. She and my grandpa love to travel, and they are probably the busiest people I know. 

A large part of who I am today is because of this woman and the woman she raised (my mom).

My goodness, I'm having a hard time keeping up on this 365 project. I've noticed that sometimes my quality of pictures goes way down because I'm just trying to complete a day. Other times I just use my phone camera, and other times I am just trying to catch a moment before it passes. 

I haven't had a lot of time to put much thought into composition, so I'm just trying to focus on what we would like to look at in a family book 10 years from now.

 On Saturday, he decided to wear his batman mask.

 Long!

He told me that when it's his turn for his birthday party, he wants only boys. No girls allowed. And if girls come "they just have to do laundry and work!"

I figure it's payback for me telling him he couldn't come with me to my laser tag birthday. 

My baby girl got an all clear from the orthopedic surgeon for her hip dysplasia! We don't have to go back for 1 year! 

 I made this sweet girl a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and she loved the blackberry jelly so much! Can you tell it was her favorite part?

 Boston took this one. It was supposed to be just of me, but I actually love how it turned out. :) 

This is my Strawberry Lime Cream cake my mom made me for my birthday. By far my favorite cake! 

I love this picture of my grandma! She is such a beautiful woman, and I've learned so much from her!
